1on1 Coach: Running, Triathlon, Crossfit
Mark Cullen is the co-founder and head coach of LP Endurance, a dedicated endurance coach focused on empowering athletes of all levels to reach their full potential in triathlon, running, and crossfit races. With over a decade of experience as a coach and competitive triathlete, Mark has a deep understanding of endurance sports’ physical and mental demands.
Mark’s coaching philosophy is rooted in individualized training, tailored to meet the unique goals and lifestyles of his athletes, whether they’re tackling their first 5k, an Ironman, or a high-intensity CrossFit competition. He works closely with Mid pack up to Professional athletes, guiding them to optimize performance, build resilience, and avoid injury with smart, progressive training strategies. Mark coaching combines his own experiences with the latest sports science to develop effective, engaging training programs.
As an athlete Mark has competed at multiple 70.3 world championships, boston marathons and has been victorious overall and in his age group at numerous run and triathlon competitions. Some of his PBs include 1:17 for the half marathon, 2:48 for the marathon, 4:19 for the 70.3 and 9:35 in the Ironman.

1on1 Coach: Running, Triathlon
Based in Ottawa but originally from Kelowna, Jessica is our newest triathlon coach who brings personal triumph and professional expertise to her athletes.
A professional triathlete as of 2024, Jessica’s journey to becoming a Pro was fueled by a winning streak in 2023, where she placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in all her races, including a notable Overall AG victory 70.3 massachusets. Starting her triathlon journey in 2011, Jessica initially self-coached until joining the LP team, where structured coaching enhanced her results.
Overcoming scoliosis and back surgery with no athletic background, Jessica defied medical predictions that she wouldn’t be active. She began cycling in a 2009 cancer fundraiser, igniting her love for endurance sports and setting her on a path to fitness leadership. With over 10 years in the industry, Jessica now owns her own spin studio, where she has taught, trained other instructors, and built a thriving fitness community.
Driven by her own journey and the value of guidance, Jessica is passionate about helping athletes reach their goals and fulfill their race-day dreams.

1on1 Coach: Road Running, Trail Running, Triathlon, Cycling
Ryan has been an NCCP-certified triathlon coach since 2009, assisting athletes with personalized training plans that prioritize long term development and technical skill improvement.
Ryan has worked with athletes of all ages and experience levels, from first triathlon finishes to Ironman World Championship qualifications and World Triathlon draft-legal racing. He also has single-sport expertise in road, gravel and mountain biking, and high performance running from the mile to trail ultramarathons.
He brings a unique breadth of athletic experience to his coaching having competed in nearly all disciplines of triathlon from elite draft-legal, to Xterra and Ironman, along with success in road and trail running. Ryan’s approach to coaching is grounded in his experience in high-performance training and racing.
With his technical expertise and a passion for gaining and sharing knowledge, Ryan looks forward to helping athletes achieve their goals with personalized training programs tailored to their goals and priorities.

1on1 Coach: Triathlon, Swimming, Cycling, Running
Coach Jeff is a former professional triathlete with an impressive competitive history spanning from the mid-1990s to 2010. During his career, he represented Canada in both triathlon and duathlon, competing at national and world championship levels across a diverse range of distances, from short-course events to Ironman.
With nearly 25 years of coaching experience, Jeff has dedicated himself to developing triathletes of all levels. He served as the cross-country coach at his alma mater, Wilfrid Laurier University, from 2000 to 2009.
Under his guidance, numerous triathletes, duathletes, and runners have reached the podium and qualified for prestigious races, including university championships and world competitions in both duathlon and triathlon, covering distances from Olympic to half and full Ironman.
Jeff takes immense pride in coaching all levels of triathletes, helping them achieve their goals and find fulfillment in the sport. As an Ironman University Certified Coach, he is excited to join LP Endurance, embracing the vibrant athlete community they have cultivated. With a passion for guiding athletes to reach and surpass their aspirations, Jeff is committed to fostering a healthy lifestyle while balancing the demands of busy lives.

1on1 Coach: Triathlon, Running, Cycling
Calum started his athletic career as a competitive team sport athlete in hockey, lacrosse, basketball and baseball, competing at the provincial and national level.
While originally recruited to play NCAA lacrosse, he ultimately decided to play Junior hockey in Western Canada for the Humboldt Broncos in Saskatchewan.
After a few years out of sport, Calum followed in the footsteps of his mother, a 10x Boston Marathon runner and entered the world of endurance sports. Since his first sprint triathlon (winning his Age Group), he has completed 3 Ironmans, including the 2021 Ironman World Championships. Whether he’s training, studying or researching,
Calum spends his spare time living and breathing triathlon.
Calum will be another option for those looking for 1on1 Running, Cycling or Triathlon coaching and will help Mark in overall program design and innovation for 1on1 and club athletes.

Tyler discovered endurance sports in 2017, beginning with running and ultrarunning before transitioning to triathlon. With a background in mechanical engineering, Tyler takes a scientific approach to coaching, leveraging expertise in technology, efficiency, and aerodynamics to help athletes achieve their peak performance. A two-time Ironman 70.3 World Championship qualifier and podium finisher in his first Ironman, Tyler blends technical knowledge with real-world experience.
Known for balancing work, life, and training, Tyler emphasizes creating sustainable plans that align with an athlete’s lifestyle. Tyler prioritizes the critical role of nutrition and fuelling for endurance success, ensuring athletes are prepared not just physically but holistically. Whether working with beginners or seasoned triathletes, Tyler is passionate about fostering growth, resilience, and a lifelong love of endurance sports.

1on1 Coach: Running
Jamieson has been running since 2009 and joined LP Endurance in January 2022. He’s raced four marathons (3:05 PB), 10+ half-marathons (1:26 PB), and dozens of races at other distances. He also has plenty of experience with high-volume training (topping out at over 100 km/week) and balancing running with strength training at the LP facility. If you join Jamieson for a workout, he’ll take care of the pacing, rest timing, and jokes — all you need to do is have fun and run free.

He has been in the multisport and running world for close to 30 years and has helped mentor and coach many athletes from the start of their journey all the way to accomplishing some amazing goals. Athletes that Steve has mentored right from their entry to the sport have gone on to qualify for the 70.3 world championship, land on AG podiums and many of his mentees have gone on to complete huge feats like Ironman and Marathons.
Steve was a sponsored Adidas runner and he has been heavily involved in KW endurance community . He has worked with various triathlon clubs, the Runners Choice run programs and served as a bike fitter at Ziggys. Steve no longer races and has refocused his passion for the sport towards helping others acclimatize into the endurance world. As you’ll hear Steve often say “Your goals are my goals”.
You will find his approach to coaching is rooted in instilling confidence and helping athletes remain patient in the process. He is always helping to remind us that we all were beginners at one point and need to continue to be proud of the headway we have made. Steve believes that our job as experienced athletes is to welcome, accept, inspire, motivate and encourage athletes that have not had a chance to gain the experience yet.
If you are a newer Runner or Cyclist who has been debating coming out to some more group workouts or just needs some additional guidance, rest assured coach Steve will be an awesome addition to our club to help athletes find their comfort zone and get started on the right path to progression.
